Jackie Chan Han Meilin Calligraphy

Jackie posted this picture of a calligraphy drawing on weibo recently and asked readers to guess what it was. Yesterday he posted the answer to the question. It is his name '成龙' in a calligraphic style given to him by Han Meilin, a very famous Chinese artist, during the CPPCC sessions. They sat next to each other in several of the sessions.

This is the full version signed by Han Meilin:

A very interesting information. I thought that Jackie´s name can be written only in a way how we know his autograph. Now we see that it can be written also using a calligraphic style.

This is more like art than just calligraphy. There is a "cursive" style for Chinese just like there is for Western text but as Han Meilin is an artist, this more artistic and creatively interpretative than just simply 'joined up writing'.

I knew it was his name... but I figured he was working on a new logo or something. I didn't realize an artist had done it.
